Mrs. F. Downing Wood of Washington, Va. announces the engagement of her daughter Alice Twisdale to Paul Comer Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Comer Smith of North Garden. Miss Wood is a 1963 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and will graduate from the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School of New York in June. Mr. Smith is a junior at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. A June wedding is planned.
