Rain Saturday night interfered slightly with Castleton’s annual firemen’s carnival and kept those present busy putting on and taking off rain hats, newspapers, paper towels or whatever happened to be handy to use as head gear. Mrs. B. James Moss, assisted by Nancy Settle, spent much of her time setting up and taking down stuffed animals on her stand. Though two nights of the carnival were rainy, it is estimated! that the fire company took in $3,000.
