Mrs. Florence Coppage
Florence Virginia Coppage, age 73 years and wife of the late George William Coppage of Washington, Virginia died Sunday, July 11, 1965 at a Culpeper Nursing Home after several months of declining health. She was born on December 15, 1891 in Rappahannock County and is survived by three daughters, Mary C. Woodward of Washington, Va., Mrs. Faye Racer of Bryans Road, Md., and Mrs. Earl T. Gates of Waldorf, Md. Four sons, George of Warrenton, John H. of Calverton, Leedy Coppage of Rixeyville, and James Coppage of Washington, D. C., twenty five grandchildren and thirty three great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Oakley Brethren Church in Rappahannock. A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the Geest Funeral Chapel. Interment was in the family cemetery near Washington, Virginia.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler and children Jeff and Phil of McLean were guests for the week-end of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Winston Sibert returned Saturday after spending three weeks in Guatemala. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Orange and son Jimmy Orange spent several days recently with Mrs. R. W, Davis in Mt. Airy.
