“Peyton House,* attractive modern stone dwelling built by the late Charles Marsh on Jessamine Hill Farm, has been sold to Mrs. Montague Sanger of Culpeper, it was announced this week.
Mrs. Sanger, who is associated with the Woodberry Forest School near Orange, has already started renovation of the interior. The residence was sold with six acres by Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindgren who bought Jessamine Hill Farm from Mr. Marsh several years ago. The transaction was handled by Edward A. Harris & Associates of Huntly. Situated high on a knoll overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains, “Peyton House* was constructed of native stone about 14 years agofor Mrs. Veronica Keating, administrative assistant to Mr. Marsh. She occupied it with her family until Mr. Marsh moved to Washington when the large farm was sold.
