Culpeper This Week
Sidewalk Sales will be the feature this year of the annual Culpeper Bargain Days to be held today, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 29, 30, 31 by the Retail Merchants of the town of Culpeper. Each merchant participating in the Sidwalk Sales will use half of the sidewalk in front of his store to display and sell merchandise, according to the Retailers Association. The four town parking lots will afford ample parking space, in addition tef the shopping center, for thetee attending the sales. Merchants will offer a greater variety of “name* brand merchandise than ever before at reduced prices. Pitts theatre will show free movies for children from 10 a. m. until 12 noon on Saturday. Pennants announcing Culpeper Bargain Days will be flown by members of the Retail Merchants Association. Rappahannock residents are invited to come, shop and save.
