Mrs. Horace Pittman was matron of honor for her sister. She was gowned simitar to the bridesmaids in rose and white. Miss Elizabeth Short niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl. Her white dress featured puffed sleeves, floor length full skirt with aqua sash She carried a nosegay bouquet of yellow daisies. Mr Daniel Short was best man for his brother. The ushers were Mr. Donald Wilson, Mr Robert Westfall and Mr. John Foellmer, all of Washington, D. C. The bride's mother chose a dress of blue lace over silk with matching accessories. The bridegroom’s mother wore a beige lace and crepe dress with accessories of the same color of Herndon were visitors Sunday of C. A. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Corbin and family are visiting Mrs. Albert Corbin and Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Corbin andfamily. Mr. Corbin has just returned from a tour of duty in Viet Nam. Visitors Sunday of Mrs. John Poe were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Welch of Arlington, Mrs Carrie Potz and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Riley of Centreville and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mozingo and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hawthorne, Richmond.
