Skyline Ski Area located In Harris Hollow near Washington, Va., is open today, Thursday. The Rappahannock Slope is covered with a good base and the rope tow is running. Hoover, temperatures will deti/mine how long the elope will be open. Do not go to the Bki area during the weekend without first checking on the skiing conditions.
Washington Theatre To Open in January
Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Armel will open the walk-in theatre in Washington, Va. late in January. The theatre has been renovated in preparation for the opening tentatively set for January 27, 1966. Mrs. Armel was in Washington, D.C. Monday and Tuesday booking films for the opening and subsequent show.
