Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook had as their guests Thursday Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Shothron of Marrittsville. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Day of Richmond is expected on Christmas Day at the Cook home. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamilton and children of High Point, N. C. spent Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett and children of Manassas and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane and children of College Park, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Welt of Washington, D. C. were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Clark. Daniel Clark, son of the Clarks, is sick this week with mumps. Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Vest and family in Woodville Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. William Pullen will visit their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs John T. Pullen and family of Richmond on Saturday and Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller will spend Christmas weekend

Richard Belch arrived home after serving four years with the Marines. He is staying with Warren Presgraves. Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell were Bridge guests Satur day night of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning.
Mr. and Mrs. William C. Dennis of Jackson, S. C. returned to their home Tuesday after visiting relatives in this area, including Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers and Mrs. Thelma Russell. Saturday evening Mrs. Russell and the Dennis family attended a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Johnson in Front F^oyal. Other guests were Miss Betty Lee Glascock of Summit Point, W.
