Fellowship Hall of the church immediately following the ceremony. Presiding over the three-tier wedding cake were Mrs. James Rector of Stevensburg and Miss Francis Bain of Washington, D. C. Miss Maureen Shannon of Annapolis, Maryland and Miss Billie lager of Richardsville were at the punch bowls. Mrs. Walter Robinson, Jr. of Blacksburg, sister of the groom, was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Barron wore for her daughter’s wedding a medium blue lace dress with matching accessories. Her corsage was of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Bowen, mother of the bridegroom, wore a powder blue lace dress and a corsage of yellow rosebuds.
The bride was dressed in a matching skirt and sweater ensemble of pastel blue cashmere with black accessories and wore a corsage of white roses from her bridal bouquet as the couple left for a wedding trip to New York City. Mr. and Mrs. Latham will make their home in Beaverdam, Virginia where Mr. Latham is on the faculty of the C. T. Smith High School.
Flint Hill H.D. Club
The Homemakers Club of Flint Hill met at the home of Mrs. _ Wade Pullen Tuesday the 14. Miss Doris Daugherty gave a demonstration on identifying old glass. Those present were: Mrs. Mary Cleverly.
