Thailand Missionary To Speak at Forest Grove
The Rev. Cecil Carder, Missionary to Thailand, will be guest speaker for the worship service Sunday, May 1 at Forest Grove Baptist Church near Viewtown. The service begins at 11 a. m. Rev. Carder and his family have been spending a furlough in the States and will soon return to their mission post. The public is invited to attend the service at Forest Grove.

April Feeder Pig Sales at Harrisonburg, Richmond and Courtland averaged $26.38per head. A total of 2280 head was sold. With feeder pigs bringing prices like this, farmers might well sharpen their pencils in determining whether to sell at 65-75 lbs. or carry them to market hog weights. Organized Feeder Pig sales are now held In Virginia each month of the year. Sale nearest our producers is that held at Culpeper Enterprises every third Tuesday of each odd numbered month, the next sale being May 17. , Nominations and vaccinations must be taken care of 30 and 21 days (respectively) prior to the sale date.
