Housewarming Held

For Eubank Couple

The Women’s Society of the Sperryville Methodist honored Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. Tuesday night with a house-j warming to celebrate the occasion of moving to their new house. They received many lovely and useful gifts and enjoyed an evening of fellowship. After the presents were opened refreshments were served.

Mrs. W. H. Cordle entertained at two tables of Bridge at her home in Broad Hollow near Sperryville on Friday evening. Her guests included Mrs. R. E. Patzig, Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Mrs. J. P. Snead, Mrs. Lucio Kilby, Mrs, Roy Reeve, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. T. J, Pillar and Mrs. E. N. Montague.

Miss Hawkins Feted With Bridal Shower

Mrs. W. H. Lyne was hostess at a miscellaneous shower on Saturday evening at her home Intervale near Sperryville honoring Miss Judy Hawkins whose marriage to Fred Codding will take place on April 30. Following the opening and displaying of gifts the hostess served refreshments.
