Armistead L. Boothe, Democratic candidate for the United States Senate, today announced the appointment of Mrs. Dorothy Davis as chairman of the Women’s Division of the Boothe for Senate campaign.
Mrs. Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Cox, was born in Rappahannock County, in 1922, and attended the Rappahannock County public schools She was married to George H. Davi's, jr. a native of Warrenton, in the Washington, Virginia-Baptist church in February, 1939. Her husband is presently Commonwealth Attorney for Rappahannock County. Mrs. Davis is the mother of four children. They are; Mary Norman Davis, a graduate of Mary Washington College and now wife of Rev.
