Bruce and Stevie Critzer of Arlington were the week-end guests of their grandmother Mrs. J. W. Critzer. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Longstaff left Monday for a two weeks European trip. Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt will be in the office at Jessamine Hill Farm during the absence of Mrs. Longstaff. Sunday supper guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer and Mrs. George Morgan.
Dr. and Mrs. Dixon Whitworth of Front Royal and Mrs. C. H. White of Linden were Sunday visitors of the W. C. Campbells and the C. J. Millers.
Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt was a visitor Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Moseley at their home in Rixeyville. The Rev. William Lee Alford of Cape Charles was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at Delamore. Mr. Alford conducted the services Sunday at the Flint Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. accompanied her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. James Massie and family of Amissville on a motor trip from - Friday until Sunday when they visited points of interest in Gettysburg, York, Lancaster and Good Hope, Pa. Guests on Wednesday of last week of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer were Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart who were enroute from Pass-a-Grille, Florida to their home in Brantford, Ontario. Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mrs. C. G. Reid attended May Day exercises Saturday at V.S.D.B. where Mrs. Reid's granddaughter Miss Frances Wood is a student. Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCarty and Miss Nancy Bishop of Front Royal were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. T. Morgan Johnston.
