The Front Royal Oratorio Choir will present a spring performance Sunday, May 22, at 8 p.m. in the Front Royal Presbyterian Church. The director will be Ronald E. Johnston, Minister of Music and Education at the First Baptist Church, Front Royal. Mr. Johnston received his musical training at George Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn. and at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Church Music in Louisville, Ky. The accompanist will be Helen Cunningham Smith, who has served as organist for the choir since its first performance in I960. She is a graduate

The action came also in response to suggestions by Members of Congress, during debate last year on the four-year Agricultural Act of 1965, that early announcements be made once a long-term wheat program was enacted.
