Edgar H. Brenner, Washington attorney with the firm of Arnold & Porter, has purchased a 505-acre mountain farm on Harris Hollow Road with one of the most magnificent views in the county. The property was owned by the Burkeville Veneer Co. of Burkevllle, Virginia, of which W. H. King is President. Mr.‘ King's company bought the place about six years ago from James K. (Jake) Vardaman, onetime chairman of the board of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, who now resides in California.
