Bag limits will be similar to those in effect last year except that in the Northern Neck area doe shooting will be limited to the first 5 hunting days and in Surry and Sussex Counties, one doe will be permitted during the entire season. Shooting was limited to bucks only in King William County. Small game seasons remain basically unchanged from last year. Western counties will have their customary early opening season beginning November 7 and ending January 31. Eastern Virginia small game season will open November 21 and extend through January 31 with quail season remaining open through February 15.
