During the weekend county fire school held in Amissville the local ladies sold sandwiches and drinks and at the fire school banquet held Friday evening Mrs. Carol Hackley presented a check to Fire Department president, Ralph H. Rowzie in the amount of $69.00, proceeds of the food sales. This money will go toward the fund raising campaign for a new rescue squad ambulance which got underway last week. At right is Bobby Carter, captain of the Rescue Squad.
