commercial clays, and has designed a number of pieces in which Rappahannock clay is used. Joseph Carter of Sperryville and Washington, D.C., has been most helpful to the group, by teaching classes in hand molding, among other things, last year. Presently Mrs. Bennett is taking instruction in glazing under the direction of Mrs. H. B. Tanner in Culpeper. These are only a few examples of the progress of individuals in the group. Many more will be included in the exhibit at the county Library this weekend.
