charge of illegally stopping on the highway was placed against Jackie Eugene Wilder of Lake Hamilton, Fla. after he became involved in a traffic crash just north of Huntly on October 14. Wilder was operating a 55 Buick heading north on Route 522 when he ran out of gas and stopped partially on the highway. When an unidentified southbound motorist stopped to render assistance, its headlights blinded an approaching vehicle traveling north. This car, a 1966 Chevrolet operated by Mrs. Lucy Smith Hitt of Amissville, struck the Wilder auto, according to Trooper P. P. Dicks Neither Wilder nor Mrs. Hitt was injured, but Mrs. Helen Foster of Flint Hill, a passenger in the Hitt auto, sustained lacerations and contusions of the forehead and bruised leg. She was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal by Flint Hill Rescue Squad. Wilder, a migrant laborer.
