A lack of school spirit at RCHS resulted ina rather disappointing number of magazine subscriptions turned in this week. Quite' a few students did exceptionally well on sales, but on the whole, not enough effort was put forth to reach this year’s goal of $1,400. At the end of the campaign Tuesday the total was only $1,145. This is the first time in several years that we have failed to reach our set goal. We hope that future classes will strive to accomplish what we did not. An assembly was heldThurs day afternoon toencouragestu dents to get out and sell magazines. At that time two drawings were held for prizes given to the sellers of magazine subscriptions. Miss Amy Palmer won a prize of $5.00, and a "mystery” prize of $10 was put into an envelope with a drawn name and set aside for Tuesday vfhen the winner would be revealed. Winners of stuffed magazine sale dolls during the week were: Janet Hackley, Lizzie E a s t h a m, Brenda HackleyJ Stevie Aylor, William Payne, Marilyn Porter, Earl Yancey, Bonnie North Terry Raymond, Terry Russell and Gail Updike.
