Among otner interests developed have been knitting, hooking and braiding, rugs, basket weaving, crocheting, designing and making aprons, and quilting. An endeavor is b£in'g made to preserve known handcrafts and create interest in learning others. The group also promotes friendship and^contacts and any and everyone is extended an invitation to join the group which meets second and third Tuesdays at Cabb Inn, Sperryville, through the courtesy of Mrs. R. E. Thompsen. Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Sperryville, is chairman of the group. Mrs. Mary Cleverley of Flint Hill has done much in the instruction of knitting for many of this group and other groups including Homemakers Clubs.
