Mrs. J. B. Johnson
Mrsj Edna Compton Johnson, 82, of Sperryville, wife of Joseph B. Johnson, died October 11, 1966 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was a native and life resident of Rappahannock County, the daughter of Richard E. and Mary Virginia Yates Compton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Joseph B. Johnson, Jr. of Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer of Sperryville and Mrs. Gordon Payne, Madison; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. W. I. Henson of Front Royal and Mrs. W. A. Bullis of North Wilkesboro, N. C.
