Miss Virginia March! and George Varner Devers were married Saturday, November 5 at 3 p.m. in St. John’s Catholic Church in Front Royal. The Rev. John McMahon performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. March! of_ Front Royal. Mr. Devers is 'a son of Mrs. William R. Devers of Chester Street, Front Royal, and the late Mr. Devers. Ernest Casarotti, organist, played traditional wedding music and the church was decorated with arrangements of white gladioli and pom poms. Given in marriage by her brother, Jonnie Marchi, the bride wore a street length dress of ivory brocade fashioned by the bride in a jewel neckline and flounced skirt. Miss Dina Marchi was her sister’s maid of honor and only attendant. She wore light blue brocade and carried a nosegay of yellow pom poms. Randolph Devers of Sperry
