herds of livestock, including producing dairy cattle, will amount to 90 percent of the sum of the county loan rate and a set amount per bushel for the grain involved. Thus, for corn in Rappahan! nock County, the livestock feed grain price for foundation herds is $1,224 per bushel (90 percent of the sum of the i$l.]7 county loan rate and 19 i cents); and for grain sorghum the price is $1,782 per hundredweight (90 percent of the sum of the $1.64 loan rate and 34 cents). For other eligible livestock, feed grain prices will be based
| on 115 percent of the sum of the local loan rate and these additional rates for corn and
| grain sorghum. Under this year’s livestock feed program, farmers may obtain the feed grains on the basis of a maximum of 5 pounds per animal per day for eligible livestock. The CCC-owned feed grains, as available, will be offered under the livestock feed program through the ASCS County Office, which is responsible for determining eligibility of producers for assistance.
