Feature of the afternoon’| five-event hurdle and flat race program, which starts at 1 p.m will be the inaugural running of the Virginia Hunt Cup, a grueling three-mile timber race and the autumn counter, part of the famous Virginia Gold Cup. The Gold Cup is run in the spring. Admission to the races is only $1 and unreserved parking is free. Some special parking spaces are still available and can be reserved at $25 each through the Warrenton Hunt Races office, 9 Culpeper St., Warrenton.
