The Veterans of Foreign Wars has amended its Charter and will now accept for membership any veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States who has service on foreign soil and who has been awarded a campaign badge or medal by Congressional action This means that any member of the Armed Forces who has service in Vietnam on or after July 1, 1958, and to a terminal date yet to be announced, is eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Disable^ American Veterans may no# issue member shij> to any veteran who has a service-connected disability and who was in service anytime after December 7, 1951, and before a date yet to be decided. This means that any veteran with an honorable die charge and a service-connect ed disability, who has been in service since December 7, 1941, is eligible for membership.
