The teacher spotlighted this week is Mrs. Jewelle Magarity. Mrs. Magarity was born in Swifton, Arkansas. After attending Swifton High School she went to Galloway Woman’s College at Searcy, Arkansas and American University at Washington, D. C. She graduated with her B.S. in Sociology. In college Mrs. Magarity was a member of the Glee Club, the Dramatic Club and the basketball team. Mrs. Magarity has one son Nelson and two granddaughters. At Rappahannock she teaches General Business, Earth Science and Math 8. She resides at Castleton, Virginia.
