A compulsory school attendance law was broached by the Rev. Charles Glaenzer. This 'had been discussed previously and the Commonwealth’s Attorney had been requested to draft proposed legislation, however, he was out of town Friday. Mr. Glaenzer, Mrs. Pauline Bruce and Mrs. John Cargill were appointed to meet with Mr. Davis before a special board meeting sched uled for July 17, to work out ' details of such an ordinance for presentation in August. E. L. Weakley of Amissville was present to registers complaint about the County Fire School which is generally held at Amissville carnival grounds He stated the smoke and fumes were injurious to his property and health and that the storage of oil at the grounds was dangerous.
