off to our benefit. Special thanks go to all who gave their time and effort in preparing and serving a delicious supper which was throughly enjoyed inspite of weather conditions which necessitated last-minute changes in eating arrangements.

The program and exhibits at the Library were well attended ; The speeches of Mr. Monroe Waugh and Mrs. Dorothy Davis were of particular interest in view of their local historic reference. Exhibits by manyi talented Rappahannock High: School art students and also those by the members of the 4-H Club, the -1-H Honor Club, Girl Scouts and the Amissville Home Demonstration Club attracted most favorable comments by all visitors to the Library.

Last but not least, we like to express our appreciation tO the Rappahannock News staff for their generous co-operation in publicizing our programs^and stimulating widespread participation of the community in our celebration of this July 4th, 1%7.
