Mr. and Mrs. John Gaines of Fairfax spent the long holiday week-end with Mr. Gaines’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gaines. Other dinner guests on the Fourth were Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Gaines and children, and Mr. and Mrs. MayIon Aylor, all of Madison, and Mrs. Gaines’ grandchildren Eddie and Terry Gaines of Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Press Pulliam and family of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson. C. B. Johnson, Miss Nellie Johnson and Mrs. J. H. Johnson were in Charlottesville Monday. W. B. Johnson left this week for Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Winston Sibert and children Becky and Johnny of Takoma Park, Md. returned Sunday to their home after spending a week with Mrs. Amos Butler. Mrs. Butler’s Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler and family of Annandale. Mrs. Mary B, Quaintance entertained Saturday night with a Dessert Bridge party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Brown Miller of Peola Mills. Rhonda Brown of Sperryville was a guest for the day Tuesday of Miss Sue Titchenell. The Rev. and Mrs. George Williamson and the Rev. B. Gale Titchenell were dinner guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. K. T. Grigsby had as their recent weekend guest Floyd Grigsby of Irvington, N. J. They returned home with him on Sunday for a week’s visit. On Thursday Mrs. Floyd Grigsby entertained her guests with a boat trip in New York harbor.
