Pfc. Edward B. Dorsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey, arrived home on Saturday evening for a two week’s visit. He is stationed at the U. S. Army Hospital at Ft. Huachuca, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. John Coates of Alexandria spent a long week-end with Mrs. Coates’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins and children were Saturday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry Jenkins in Front Royal. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Wiley A. Gentry and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Jenkins in Manassas. Duane Dibble returned home Sunday after a week’s vacation in Rising Sun, Md. where he was the guest of Mrs. Mary Timarin. Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey returned home on Tuesday evening after spending a week in New York visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Robert McLaughlin and son Bobby of Washington, D. C. were Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and family. The McLaughlins were former residents here.
