Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers spent several days at Colonial Beach and during their absence Mr. and Mrs. Ward Guessford of Williamsport, Md. were guests of Mrs. Nethers’ father, Allen Lillard. Mrs. Nethers returned home with them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and sons of Hamilton were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown at Rock Villa. The Rev. and Mrs. Edward Nicholson and children of Middleburg spent several days at Kilby’s Cottage. Members of the Methodist Church, their familiesandadditional guests enjoyed a picnic on Sunday at the Methodist Camp near Boston. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar were Mr. and Mrs. William H. Pillar of Birmingham, Ala. Mrs. Junious Jenkins and daughter, Amy Catherine of Williamsburg were recent visitors of Mrs. W. H. Cordle and sons, David and Louie.
Weekend guests of Mr. andt Mrs. Harold Stukey and Mrs. Ellen Wood were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Tory of San Fran cisco, Calif, and Miss Ann Backer of Yorktown.
Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers of Flint Hill visited ; last week with Mr. and Mrs. I W. C. Dennis and family in Jackson, S. C.
Mrs. Alma Showalter of Har| risonburg, who was called here by the death of her aunt, Mrs. Ida Devers, wasanovernight guest Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers. Weekend guests in the Devers home were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy j Devers and children of Front Rnval.
