carried a bouquet of daisies dyed to match her gown. Bridesmaids were Misses Dana Kay Snead and Helen Kaye Johnston, both of Washington, Va., Miss Susan Louise Dress of Big Stone Gap, Va. and Mrs. Douglas Markwood Butler of Manassas. Their gowns were designed like that of the honor attendant and were of maize color withj matching headpieces. William Aubrey Trinkle of1 Roanoke, Va. was best man and ushers were Glenn Hartwell Updike of Virginia Beach, Rahdall Snead Updike, Washington, Va., brothers of the bridegroom, Ronald Gordon Jacobs of Warrenton, brotherin-law of the bride, and Samuel Doran Snead of Washington, Va. A reception was held at Glen i Eyrie Farm Inn near Washing-1 ton. Mrs. Bernard M. Varner: of Sperryville and Mrs. Gor- i don Payne, Madison both aunts of the bride, served the tiered wedding cake. Serving punch were Miss Dorothy; Taylor Davis of Washington and Miss Diane Bruce of! Sperryville. Miss Carolyn Johnston of Washington presided at the guest book. Mrs. Schaefer wore a sheath of pink linen with matching shoes and a pastel colored hat. Her flowers were pink carnations. Mrs. Updike chose a dress of turquoise crepe and a beige flowered hat. Her corsage was of sweetheart roses. The bride chose a sheath of tan linen and matching large straw hat for her traveling costume.
