Robert Jenkins, Jr. and Pvt. Kenneth Lee Payne. Mrs. John Wood of Atlanta, Ga. wfs a visitor from Thursday until Sunday of her parents Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at Millermead. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Paulson and two children of Newport News were Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. Paulson’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland. Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr. and daughter Miss Carter Moffett returned home Wednesday after a visit at the home of Mrs. Moffett's parents the Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton of Springfield. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Price of Vienna were Saturday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller. Miss Lucy Rice of Radford College was the over-night guests Friday of Miss Kay Johnston and attended the Updike-Schaefer wedding on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and four children of Suffolk, on a camping vacation, spent from Wednesday until Monday, visiting relatives in the county. Mr. and Mrs. H. Magruder Keyser and two sons of Fairfax were week-end guests of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser. Mr. and Mrs. Keyser were dinner and theatre guests Saturday evening at the Wayside Inn and Theatre in Middletown. George Hall of Camilla, Ga. is visiting his grandmother Mrs. F. Downing Wood at Sunnyside. Approximately twenty members of the Shenandoah Valley Art Assoc, were guests last Sunday of Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and son Arthur Cheatham at Mountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones were in Blacksburg last week Tuesday until Thursday to attend a meeting of the Commissioners of the Industry of Agriculture. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cuthbert of Front Royal were callers Thursday of Edward B. Cary and J. D. Keyser. Mrs. Mamie Wrenn of Wash ington, D. C. and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pearson and daughter Mary Diane of Vienna were week-end guests of Miss Lucy Estes. Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Herndon Hudson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hudson and family.
