Miss Mary Brooke Massie was the week-end guest of her grandmother Mrs. George L. Wallihan in Front Royal. Major and Mrs. John C. Adams of El Paso, Texas is visiting Major Adams' mother Mrs. Matilda Walker. Major Adams is chief of Oral Surgery at Ft. Bliss. Mrs. Walker’s week-end guests were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marshall of Fairfax. Mrs. Marion Donovan of McLean was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.

Miss Mary Miller Wood was a Sunday luncheon guest of Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett at Hampton Inn. Mrs. D. C. Lucas of Blacksburg was the week-end guest of Mrs. John Updike. Glen Updike of Virginia Beach was his mother’s guest from Thursday until Sunday and attended the Updike-Schaefer wedding on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Smedley df Washington, D. C. were over night guests Friday of Mrs. Janie Beahm.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sours and two daughters Frances Lee and Betty of Leonia, N. J. are guests this week of Mrs. John R. Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Moore. Mrs. W. A. Gentry and her father-in-law, W. C. Gentry spent several days recently in Red Bank, New Jersey visiting Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Scott. Mrs. Scott and daughter Susanne returned with them for a visit of several days. Last Monday Mrs. Scott, Susanne and Mrs. Gentry visited Mr. and Mrs. William Clemons in Richmond. Mrs. C. J. Raney and children, Mauri and Michael, spent a few days recently visiting old neighbors in New York. The Misses Cindy Dean and Dorothy Pinnella of Long Island returned with them to enjoy a summer with Mauri Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Swaim and children of Long Island, N. Y. spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Raney at Evergreen. They hope to move
