Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wayland of Glenolden, Pa. are spending a month’s vacation at their home Walnut Lodge. On Sunday the wedding anniversaries of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wayland also of Mr. and Mrs. William Wayland of Sperryville were celebrated. At a dinner at Walnut Lodge birthdays of Darlene Wayland, Ann Fox and Clifton Weakley were celebrated. Other guests included Sgt. and Mrs. Thomas Tupper and children of Ft. Meade, Md., Sgt. and Mrs. Robert Fox and sons of Arlington _and Rappahannock County, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Weakley and family and Mr. and Mrs. John D. Wayland and daughters of Stanley. Miss Beverley Beahm spent the past week with her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Louis Smedley in Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Smith ; Atkins and two children of ! Chester, Pa. were recent i guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh ; Atkins.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Burke and daughter, Belinda returnI ed last week after a vacation trip in the Great Smokies.
