Mrs. James W. Coates of Sperryville fills out a donor card pledging her eyes to the Old Dominion Eye Bank in Richmond. With her is Eye Sight Conservation chairman of the local club, Raymond Johnson. The importance of eye donors was stressed at the Ladies Night dinner meeting last Wednesday by guest speaker John Gregory of Manassas. He explained that by pledging our eyes when we are living, after death transplants can be made to some blind person. Cornea transplants are frequently done with successful results.
