Miss Connie Berry, cousin ot the bride, was maid gf honor. She wore a street length dress of emerald velvet and her headpiece was a matching pill box with bird cage veil. Her flowers were white mums edged in red tied with red velvet streamers.
Bobby Switzer was best man for his brother and ushers were Ronald Dodson and Glen Dodson, brothers of the bride. A reception was held in the church. Mrs. John Bawkey served the wedding cake while Mrs. Lin wood Yowell and [Mrs. James Bawkey presided at the punch bowl. Miss Patsy Dodson was in charge of the , guest book. Mrs. Dodson chose for her daughter’s wedding, adressof ;green wool with brown accessories and a corsage of 'white carnations. The bridegroom’s mother wore a pale olue brocade dress with royal accessories and a corsage of white carnations.
The bride’s traveling costume was a navy blue dress with beige accessories and the orchid from her bouquet.
The couple will make their home with his parents when they return from a southern trip.
