A four-year-old who has had pneumonia twelve times, a high school student with asthma, an emphysema patient who wants to support himself at home - these are the people whose families call on the TB and Health Association for .help according to Mrs. Gladys L. Harris, the ;xecutive director of the *s: sociation. “These requests usually are for specific mechanical aids to help the homebased patient breach. The machines range in cost from $250 to $850. How to help such people (who are ineligible for assistance under medicare) is one of the growing problems and the board of directors is trying to solve it," she said.
