Slate Mills

A Christmas program was staged by the children of the Slate Mills Baptist Church Sunday School on Sunday evening. Santa Claus arrived following the program and gifts were given the children of the Sunday School and a stocking was given to each person present. Mrs. Hazel Barfield spent several days last week in Berryville with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and family. John Barfield accompanied his grandmother Mrs. Bar field home on Friday and returned to his home Sunday evening with his parents who spent Sunday here.
