of the Chester Gap Homemakers Club was held last

Thursday night. The group met at the Fire Hall and after a

few items of business, they went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mills, a local antique dealer. The topic of the

meeting was on recognizing antiques. Mr. Mills showed

them through his shop and gave

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on January 26, 1968, ordered the following proposed changes in its regulations pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia. A public hearing for the purpose of adopting such changes will be held at Room 100, 7 North Second Street, Richmond, Virginia, at 9:30 a.m. March 15, 1968.

CHAPTER 18. Turkey. Amend Regulation R 18-2.1 to read as follows:

It shall be lawful to hunt bearded turkeys only from April 22 to May 11, 1968, both dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 10 o’clock n.m. (Eastern Standard Time) except in the counties of Accomack, Buchanan, Dickenson, Gloucester, James City, Lancaster, Lee, Mathews, Middlesex, Northampton, Northumberland, Richmond, Russell, Scott, Westmoreland and Wise; and in the cities of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach; and on Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Smyth and Tazewell counties and Hidden Valley Wildlife Management Area in Washington County, which shall be closed to hunting. Bearded turkeys shall be hunted by calling. Il shall be unlawful to use dogs or organize drives for the purpose of hunting.
