Mr. and Mrs. John Peck of Herndon were Friday night supper guests of Mrs. David Streagle. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith with Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Wedderburn of Falls Church left Friday for a weeks trip to Florida.

Knitting Class To Begin
A basic knitting class will be instructed by Mrs. Mary Cleverley at her home in Flint Hill beginning Thursday, February 29. The course will consist of 5 sessions of two hours each, 7 to 9 p.m., onfollowing Thursdays. Anyone interested is invited to participate. A knitting class which has been in progress will conclude next week, the 22nd. This was a small class with only three
Strolled. They were Barbara arie Foster, Beverly Sue Foster and Raye Rector. Nine knitting classes have seen held with a total of 81 enrolled. Of these, 61 have completed the course and received certificates. Nine people have taken the course rwice and two have attended three times. The classes are sponsored jointly by the Arts and Crafts Group and the Homemakers Clubs.
Sue Slaughter Group Meets
The Sue Slaughter Group of Shiloh Baptist Association will meet at the Amissville Baptist Ghurch, tonight, Thursday, February 15 at 7 p.m. A study course will be held for groups of all ages. "The New South" is the topic for study and a film strip will be shown.
