Mrs. Roy L. Reeve entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club and additional guests at her home on Friday night. Those playing were Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. E. N. Montague, Mrs. Edward Haggerty, Mrs. Cosie Sullivan, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. Henry Keyserand Mrs. C. E, Johnson, Jr. High scorers were Mrs. Haggerty and Mrs. Montague. Bingo went to Mrs. Schaefer.

Mrs. F. W. Spalding entertained the Washington Bridge Club and guests Thursday evening at her home in Flint Hill. Present were Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. F. B Jacobsen, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mrs. Thomas B. Massie, Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt and Mrs. E. M. Jones. Prizes were won by Mrs. Moffett, Mrs. Flynt, Mrs. G. W. Smith and Mrs. Massie.

Miss Mattie Hector Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson left last Tuesday for Lakeland, Florida where they will visit their son and family Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Johnson. Last Sunday callers of Miss Nellie Johnson were Mrs. Jack Crebbs, Miss Etta Tillman and their friend all of Louisa, and Mr. and Mrs. Carey Thom hill of Boston. Mrs. Woodrow Lain and Miss Irene Cotton of Richmond visited Mrs. Raymond Johnson last week while Mr. Johnson was away on business.
