A grueling contest on the hardwood is scheduled forFrt day night at the local high school with two collosal teams^, both undefeated, (they haven’t played anyone else). Excitement is already evident and speculation running wild as to who will champion^ According to Dave Layman, coach for the teachers, they are prepared fora real tussle. When Jack Wayland, the Jaycee coach, was asked if his team would be victorious, he replied “No doubt." A bystand er from Sperryville comment ed “half of them will foul out and the rest fall out." Starters for the Jaycees will; be Sonny Anderson, Pete Estes, James Leake, Sonny Brown and George Davis III. Other Jaycees who have been practicing and will back them up are Irvin Kenyon, Ranny Aylor, Wilson Burke, Jim Willis, Jimmy and Billy Dodson, Billy Alther, Junior Leake and Rodney Vest. In the faculty line up are Dennis Wingfield, C. J. Fetchero, Sherwood Boze, Pat Biggs, Richard Neff, Andy Bowling and Dave Layman. An exciting evening is on hand for spectators and proceeds from the game will be divided between the school and Jaycees.
