Annual Firemen's Banquet Set Mar. 29 at Amissyille

The fifteenth annual Amissville Firemen’s Banquet will be held Friday, March 29 at the fire hall with the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary as hostess. Heading the dinner committee are Mrs. A. C. Latham, Mrs. Charlie Compton and Mrs. Russell Hackley. The committee notes that any contribution of food or funds for the dinner will be appreciated and they may be contacted by phone as follows: Mrs. Latham 937-3615; Mrs. Compton 937-2593; Mrs. Hackley 937-4173.

Ermand Morris fell on the job near Washington, D. C. last Tuesday and injured his leg. He is at home. Mrs. Aledean Settle and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Henry of Front Royal visited Mr. and Mrs. Willie Willis Saturday night. Mrs. Jimmy Williams returned to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Williams Saturday from Warren Memorial Hospital where she had been a surgical patient for two weeks.
