A recent news release from Mrs. Barbara Laughlin, Clothing Specialist, V.P.I. says the ^price of clothes will rise again / this season. A factor for this being that many articles are being made of leather and the cost of leather has increased. There will be some new helps for us too: One is an improvement in the permanent press finishes to make fabrics easier to clean. Also, we will see more permanent labeling with labels being sewn into garments. This will sure be a big help in giving us the care needed in plain view everytime we go to launder or have a garment cleaned.
