One-Car Crash Mars

A one-car crash occurred about 1 a.m. March 10 on Rt. 211 five miles east of Washington. Michiko Konda of La chine, Quebec, Canada operating a 67 Mercury coupe struck a cement abutment. Ac- j cording to Trooper W. A. Bun-1 tin, Miss Konda said she was; crowded off the highway by i another motorist. She sustained a broken tooth, contusions of the face and a chest injury. Robert Saunders also of Lachine, a passenger in the vehicle, received cuts and bruises of the legs and head and a foot injury. Both victims were taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad and were hospitalized over night. Damage to the car, which was owned by Sadao Konda of Jamaica, N. Y. was estimated at $600.
