The Front Royal Oratorio Society will present Mass In C by Franz Schubert on Palm Sunday, April 7 at 8 p.m. The guest conductor for this season will be Lloyd Robb of Winchester. Mr. Robb is presently Director of Choral Activities and Chairman of the Vocal Department at the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, Winchester. lie has been at the conservatory for the past five years. This active musician is originally from New York City, He began his musical training at an early age as a boy soprano soloist and performed extensively before the age of twelve. He received a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College with a music major and spent several years in the U. S. Army, where he was singing regularly. Mr. Robb took grad uate work in Brooklyn College under a two year fellowship in the fields of musicology and choral directing. At the same time he began teaching in the N.Y. school system and taught choral music in high schools and junior high schools for six year. In 1960, Mr. Robb received a scholarship to the Juilliard School* for graduate vocal study with
