Mrs. Bertha Armel attended a meeting of the Culpeper Rescue Squad Friday night when Dr. R. L. Cassidy spoke on the care and treatment and handling of a patient. Mrs. William A. Curtis spent last week with her son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs David C. Collins in New Carrollton, Md. George H. Davis, III was a business visitor Monday in Bedford and overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and daughters of Orange and Mrs. Paul Shaver and daughter Katherine were week end guests of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Mrs. Shaver and daughter left Tuesday from Orange to return home to Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. William P. Hershey and two sons Richard and Gary of Bristol, Pa., were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Burke at their home on Blue Ridge Avenue.
