last Monday of Mrs. Regina Bradford. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Russell and daughter Mary Rebecca of Harrisonburg were weekend guests of Mrs. Thelma Russell. All were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Patterson Biggs. Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark and family spent last week at Miami Beach, Florida while Mr. Clark attended a State Farm Insurance Company convention there. Mrs. Mary Cleverleyattended an organizational meeting of SCORE Monday in Winchester.

The Misses Victoria Willson of Stonington, Conn., formerly of High Meadow Farm, were visitors Sunday of Mrs. Mary Cleverley, Miss Barbara Lillard and other friends in the community. Mrs. Will Putnam is a surgical patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mr. Putnam is also a patient therefor x-rays and treatment. The W.S.C.S. met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller. Attending were Mrs. L. B. Burford, Mrs. W. A. Gentry, Mrs. Emory Rupsell, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and Mrs. Edward Pruitt.
